ESCI’s Community Risk Hub powered by CRAIG 1300™ is a tool that helps fire departments and community stakeholders identify, analyze, and prioritize risks in their communities. The tool is based on NFPA 1300, the standard for community risk assessment and reduction, and uses the Esri ArcGIS platform to enable data-driven and granular CRR activities. The tool is available in three subscription levels.

What is ESCI’s Community Risk Hub powered by CRAIG 1300™?
CRAIG 1300™ is a NFPA trademark and acronym for Community Risk Assessment Insight Generator, a framework that helps fire departments and community stakeholders identify, analyze, and prioritize risks in their communities. The 1300 refers to NFPA 1300, the standard that guides this process and provides a framework for developing and implementing risk reduction strategies.
ESCI’s new tool is called ESCI’s Community Risk Hub powered by CRAIG 1300™ and it is collection of powerful web applications Esri ArcGIS platform. The product is available in three different levels and requires clients to be an existing Esri customer and a maintain an annual subscription with ESCI.
What are the benefits of the tool?
The hub allows users to visualize risk assessment data, plan & track risk reduction activities, and evaluate the success of local initiatives aligned to NFPA 1300, the standard on Community Risk Assessment and Community Risk Reduction Plan Development.
The hub leverages the ESRI platform and brings CRR efforts to a granular level, helping users create community profiles, assess risks, plan risk reduction activities, track risk reduction resources, and monitor progress towards goals.
During onboarding, ESCI will collect a required dataset and clean/prep the data for inclusion in the hub. Once deployed, the hub is user-friendly, mobile-friendly, and supports field data collection. It also includes training and resources to ensure customer success.
When and how will the tool be launched?
The tool will be launched during the General Session at the IAFC’s Fire Rescue International (FRI) Conference. The rollout will begin immediately following FRI with select customers and ESCI will ramp up production in Fall 2024.
What are the subscription levels and pricing?
The tool will be available in three levels offered as an annual subscription. Training and support is provided at each level. ESCI staff can provide additional information about each level.
- Level I ($950) includes an interactive web application, but not the full ESCI Community Risk Hub. Users can create demographic and community profiles with client-defined boundaries or by drawing their own areas of interest. Level I does not utilize data pulled from the client’s RMS.
- Level II ($4,950) includes access to the ESCI Community Risk Hub which includes the following tools: Community Risk Assessment application, Community Risk Manager application, Community Risk Reduction Activity Reporter, Community Risk Reduction Outcomes Dashboard, and the Incident Dashboard.
- Level III ($21,500) includes all features in Level II plus a monthly data analytics retainer, custom-built features, and the deployment of additional applications such as the Target Hazard Analysis.
