The City of Corpus Christi is a full-service municipality governed by a Council-Manager form of government. This Sparkling City by the Sea, located on the Southeastern coast of Texas, is the eighth largest city in Texas. Corpus Christi is recognized for its mix of a thriving economy, abundance of outdoor activities, and popular art and cultural attractions. Situated in the Nueces County Seat, Corpus Christi is home to great museums, gorgeous beaches, and state and national parks.

The City is seeking a strong leader and innovator who is a confident communicator to serve as its next Fire Chief. The Fire Chief will direct, plan, and coordinate the activities of the Fire Department and will serve as administrative head under the direction of the City Manager.

 Salary Range: $170,610.61 – $211,902.98 annually. Starting salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications. The City also includes an excellent benefits package.
