Fire Chief

Longview Fire Department (WA)

The City of Longview, who celebrated 100 years in 2023, is seeking a Fire Chief to lead the City’s Fire Department activities and operations and to protect the City in a customer-oriented and cost-effective manner.  The LFD services an area of approximately 14.7 square miles comprised of urban/suburban development and responds to approximately 6,500 calls yearly out of two fire stations.  LFD’s front-line service providers consist of 31 career Firefighter/EMTs, 15 Firefighter/Paramedics, 3 Battalion Chiefs, an Administrative Battalion Chief and a Fire Marshal.  Each of three 24-hour shift platoons is led by a Battalion Chief.  Primary Response Vehicles include 1 ladder truck, 2 engines, and 1 ambulance.

The Salary Range for this position is $121,896 – $164,580.  Starting salary is dependent upon experience and education.  The City also provides a generous benefit package.

Fire Chief

Central Valley Fire District (MT)

The Central Valley Fire District, Montana, is seeking a new Fire Chief. The District serves the City of Belgrade, North Four Corners, Valley Center, Springhill, Reese Creek, Dry Creek, River Rock, and Gallatin Heights. The District currently has 7 fire stations with 34-career line firefighters and 20 volunteer firefighters. Station 1, the administrative Station, and Station 3, in Four Corners, are staffed with full-time career staffing 24/7. Station 2 is a volunteer resident Station, housing up to 4 Resident Firefighters. Station 6 doubles as a volunteer station, as well as our maintenance facility. Stations 4, 5, and 7 are volunteer only stations. CVFD has a 6-acre full-service training facility where Bozeman Fire, Big Sky Fire, and CVFD hold the Gallatin Valley Fire Academy. Salary: $156,167/year base salary (total compensation $226,746/year)
